This is an annual congress of evidence-based medicine which takes place in October every year. The Colloquium allows exchange between active participants in evidence-based medical care, global knowledge management, and writers of systematic reviews. Additionally, the Cochrane Colloquium serves as a meeting for members of Cochrane, a world-wide network of scientists and doctors with the goal of making the results of systematic reviews accessible to patients. It takes place in a different country each year, and Cochrane Austria was proud to be able to host the 23rd annual Colloquium in Vienna in 2015.
In 2024 the Cochrane Colloquium will be integrated in the Global Evidence Summit that will take place from 10-13 September 2024 in Prague.
