The team of the evidence-based information centre for physicians responds to clinical questions from physicians. To provide quick evidence-based responses the team conducts rapid reviews. All rapid reviews are available free of charge on the website: www.ebminfo.at.

The service is funded by the Lower Austria Health and Social Fund (Niederösterreichischer Gesundheits- und Sozialfonds) and is the only free of charge, non-industry-sponsored rapid response service for physicians in Austria. All physicians from clinics in Lower Austria can use this service free of charge. The EBM information centre is part of Cochrane Austria and pursues the goal of supporting evidence-based medicine.
